The employer’s family prefers a helper who will not take home leave. During her last home leave, the family had to arrange for Ah Ma to stay in a nursing home, which was costly and she was not comfortable with the nursing care.

Ah Ma passed away, and she returned to the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
