he was required to travel from the residence in Tampines to assist at sir’s fruit shop in Bukit Merah from 8.00am to about 1.00pm. After returning from the shop, she had to handle household chores, laundry and ironing. This was very tiring for her.

Housework, prepared simple meals and provided care for ah ma, who could walk at home but used a wheelchair outside. She also accompanied ah ma to hospital appointments and outings.

Ah ma’s room was infested with bed bugs on the mattress, pillow, and cupboard. Despite this, ah ma refused to replace the affected items. She raised the matter with her son and requested to be transferred.

She handled household chores and took care of madam, who had suffered a stroke. She accompanied madam to sell tissue at the MRT station from 5.00am to 10.00pm. They ate outside every day.
